FAQ
How much will it cost?
Session/Creation fees start at $150. The average customer should expect to spend $900 for products and packages. Please contact us for specific prices.
What locations are available?
Anywhere in the Kansas City Metro Area. We will want to discuss your interests and likes to decide what location would work best. Many locations are free, others have a small fee which we can discuss. We have beautiful parks on both the KS and MO sides of the State Line. From Lenexa Park in KS to James A Reed in MO, from the City Market to Unity Village, or even your High School or Home, are all available at our fingertips. The question is, what is your style... casual or formal, greenery or graphic, playful or driven? What is your vision of who you are? What makes you special and unique? We will then discover the locations that fit your desires. However we would be happy to travel to St. Louis, Lawrence, Colorado, Texas, or beyond for an additional fee. Just ask!
How do I prepare for my session?
Focus on having fun! Have clothing laid out for everyone, so your not searching for that belt or earrings while you should be heading out the door. The more you have prepared typically the less stressful the day will be. Let children know we will just be playing and having fun. Let them bring a favorite small toy to tell us about. And for goodness sake, get plenty of rest the night before... : )
What should I wear?
Something you feel good in! No more matchy matchy khaki shorts with white polos for the family sessions. Clothing should be coordinated and complementary to each other. Think layers and textures. Have fun with jewelry, shoes and accessories to coordinate with one another.
Low contrasting colors work best for your faces to be the focal point, not your clothing. Avoid whites and neon colors. I would be happy to discuss this in detail when we discuss your locations.
