Our mission is to create images of life through unique and fine art photography. Our greatest wish is that our photographic images will be valued and cherished now... and for future generations.



It is such a kick to be one of the top pet photographers in the Kansas City area!  How great is it to be able to roll around on the ground, get handshakes and sloppy kisses from a new furry friend... all while making a beautiful portrait for their human?  We have the perfect combination of love for the animal and skill in our craft.  Lori is a Master Photographer through the PPA and has been photographing pets for over 20 years.

VanDeusen Pawtraits showcases three distinct styles of pet photography...

This is mostly determined by the location you select.  Happy Tails is a lifestyle session with your pets, the session is at a local Kansas City Park or trendy location on the Missouri or Kansas side of State Line with. In The Dog House is a portrait style session at  your home or country club that truly personalized space that can create a comfortable surrounding for you little ones.  The classic black backdrop is called Fine Art Pawtraits, these are timeless pieces of art that showcases your special pet.  All are uniquely beautiful!
